
Kaspa’s Desserts App

Kaspa’s Desserts was founded to spread happiness, one delicious bite at a time. Their parlours serve up a huge range of high-quality, freshly made sweet treats for dessert lovers young and young at heart. At Kaspa’s, they’re not just serving desserts; they’re crafting memories.
Their app had become dated and not customer friendly, and we wanted to create a new design that reflected the brand vibrancy, delicious treats and modern look while giving a good rewards programm to their clients. We focused on the brand’s american retro style and vibrant colours to create a system of components, rules and styles that would allow us to have a consistent, strong, exciting and easy to use interface.



The old app did not reflect the new direction the brand was taking, elements weren’t clear enough and the functionality was not user friendly enough. We wanted to introduce new brand elements such as patterns and shades to show the young, vibrant and colourful side of the brand - making the app easy to use, clear and being able to show all their delicious desserts available to get delivered, collect or ordered to a table, along with all the promos and discounts that the app would offer.
We researched our audience, the competition and the functionalities we wanted to have and created a moodboard, which lead us to create some prototypes with the main elements and user journeys, using wireframes. Once this was done, we put together the visual concept for the app, using the renewed brand and its new colours, patterns and styles to create the main elements and design system - buttons, CTAs, animations, icons, interactions, colour systems and styles.

We also developed a series of elements such as emails for customers when they register, as well as for gift cards, vouchers, promos, etc. and created all the necessary elements to market an app for Ios and Android.
